UNCITRAL Model Law on Electronic Transferable Records Presentation | Legal Hackers Ljubljana

European Blockchain Hub (EUBC HUB) will host an event organized by Legal Hackers Ljubljana with support from Irene Ng Šega of LH Singapore, where Mr Luca Castellani, legal officer in the UNCITRAL Secretariat, will present the UNCITRAL Model Law on Electronic Transferable Records. The model law aims to enable the domestic and cross-border legal use of transferable documents or instruments in the electronic form, paving the way to commercial use of blockchain entries and smart contracts. Jurij Lampič, senior associate at Schoenherr Slovenia and a member of Schoenherr's technology & digitalisation group, prepared a Slovenian language working translation of the model law to accompany the event.  

The event will take place on 14 February 2019 at 5 pm in the EU Blockchain HUB, Šmartinska 142, Ljubljana (6^th Floor).
