Schoenherr Slovenia hosted the 4th Pre-Moot rehearsal

On Friday, 22^nd February, Schoenherr Slovenia hosted the 4^th Pre-Moot Rehearsal. University teams from six cities attended the event: Graz, Ljubljana, Silesia, Trieste, Vienna and Zagreb.

Following a morning reception with coffee and snacks, and a warm welcome by Mark Moggi (attorney at law at Schoenherr Slovenia), eight pleadings were held. In keeping with tradition, teams of two students each pleaded before a tribunal of three arbitrators. After each round of arguments, the arbitrators scored the teams and provided feedback.

The arbitrators consisted of former Vis Moot participants who are now lawyers at Schoenherr Slovenia (Simon Tertnik, senior associate, Jurij Lampič, senior associate, and Žan Timon Aldžić Matiš, associate) and other leading Slovenian law firms (Rojs, Peljhan, Prelesnik & Partners, Šelih & Partners and Miro Senica and Attorneys) as well as other former Moot participants and university team coaches.

The Pre-Moot Rehearsal at Schoenherr Slovenia has become a traditional preparatory event in which participants have the opportunity to get to know the other teams and arbitrators as well as to improve their skills for the upcoming Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition, which will take place later this year in Vienna.
