Chambers Europe 2021: Schoenherr Slovenia recognised as one of the leading Slovenian law firms in several areas

Following the Chambers Global Guide, Schoenherr Slovenia has also been recognised as a leading law firm by the Chambers Europe Guide 2021 in several legal areas: Banking & Finance, Competition/Antitrust, Corporate/Commercial, Dispute Resolution and Employment.

In addition, our partners Eva Škufca, Bojan Brežan and Vid Kobe continue to be top ranked in their respective areas.

The qualities on which rankings are assessed, according to Chambers, include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment, and any other qualities most valued by the client.

In their report, Chambers writes for Banking & Finance team, led by Vid Kobe, that "the team accrues praise for its ability to 'handle large-scale and complex deals while remaining calm' and its 'excellent business-oriented advice'." The Competition/Antitrust team, driven by Eva Škufca, "accrues praise for its 'enthusiasm, expertise and ethics'", while the Corporate/Commercial team "demonstrates some impressive recent corporate and commercial matters in the country". Bojan Brežan leads the Dispute Resolution department, which "clients endorse. In broadly positive feedback, they commend its provision of 'the most practical or strategic solution possible,' as well as its ability to coordinate cross-border matters." Marko Frantar, partner in our dispute resolution, real estate & construction and regulatory departments was recognised as "honest, thorough and professional" and "very meticulous and highly strategic". Clients highlight the "spot on" advice by Matej Črnilec (attorney at law), and commend him for being "very fast, to the point and very clear", while Eva Možina, who heads the Employment department, "is praised for her 'excellent skill set' and 'highly professional support'.
